Robert Louden - Director of Operations and Deputy Director General

Robert spent 15 years in retail, firstly as a front line manager before becoming involved in the first UK EPOS pilot.

He went on to manage the EPOS implementation followed by back office and merchandising systems for one of the UK’s major retailers.

Robert then moved to retail finance and managed a number of storecards, loan, and insurance products.

Robert joined The Camping and Caravanning Club in 1995 as Director of Administration and in 2000 became Director of Operations and Deputy Director General in 2005.

In 2004 the Club successfully implemented ClubRez across its network of 93 managed sites in the UK. This implementation is the largest centralized campground network in the UK managing real-time call center services, online reservations and property management for the clubs 200,000+ primary members.  Implemented by Digital Rez International the system processed 290,000 reservations first year, 38% via the web
